The high throughput of the LDTD technology is a clear advantage for the CRO's demand of huge amount of sample analysis in biological fluids and tissues. Also, pharmacokinetic analysis can be conducted using the LDTD ion source.
Environment
LDTD analyses, mostly of chemicals in nature, can be conducted in different sample type (water, air, soil, plant life, wildlife) and on gaseous, liquid and solid wastes. Our technology is now used in a mobile lab to monitor air pollutants directly on site.
Forensics
LDTD trace analyses can consist of explosives in surface and ground water samples, contaminated soils and sediments in and around military sites.
Food
LDTD can be part of any quality control unit to insure food safety by analyzing for example antibiotic residues in food.
